Grid poem

It went down in tree town, so the little car didn't really come in handy too often. It was an extravagance. But he liked to look good around the snack table. Right? Therefore, he really wanted that red fez, so the director was willing to bet the entire tree when the crew offered a burning stump as an ante. Surprisingly, the cast bet twig with a poker face. And a rubber soul. "Bite yourself." "Twig?? All you bet is twig?!?" A bet twig ills you.
