About SUNSKULL and about Terminal Friday

Hello out there.

My name is Terminal Friday.

The included Gif file "SunSkull" is part of a work in progress... And this is gonna make me explain... This image was created in the early hours of may 4, 94. There's more to it... I'm creating it so I Can copy them onto sticker paper and decorate my stuff.

Boy that sounds boring, doesn't it? Well I've got a ream of slightly modified versions for that purpose right next to me, but I'm showing Y'all the basic image- It's a bit raw, purposefully.

I'm currently living in my VW bus (and on friend's couches) because I had an apartment, and it was lonely. So I'm on this big independance kick. This whole For Real personal responsability thing. I've just got back into AZ last week after 6 weeks of being broke in Austin. But I had fun there, sleeping in my bus and getting to know all the street urchins... Playing my guitar for minor bucks and eating in soup kitchens. I made so many friends I wanted to stay.

But I missed the dry desert air, the cactuses, the scorching sun, the sweet sturdy women and the very Naked Pueblo itself (the Baked Apple! Too stoned, Az!). And of course, the quiet senseability and magic bond between my friends and I. So this piece of art, to me, represents the SUN OVER FIRE symbol, which to a reformed creature of the night like myself is a powerful symbol, indeed. (And it's my personal symbol, so please have respect-) And an image I scanned in a few months ago- Focused the damn camera by hand, too- and found on my friend's computer right where I'd left it. (I haven't had a computer since the SS taklked to me last year-)

So put together, this piece represents, to me, the very kind of enlightenment you can get out here from too much sun. (heh heh- there's more to it, like I said, it's a work in progress. Like me. Like you.)

So if any of you go to the Wyoming Rainbow Gathering and see my symbol, stop by and say hi...

Also I have an account on Pair o Dice BBS in Austin, but don't remember my E-mail address there- Try ESG@argon.gas.uug.arizona.edu and put "ATTN:Chuck" in the subject header. I'll be getting a P.O. box in a few weeks... But hey... So I hope you enjoy this piece and all my future ones.
