Laura Knight

Born in San Francisco and raised in Santa Monica. Successful Batik artist, selling out at multiple art festivals throughout the mid-west.. Artist for Disney and in the film industry as successful photo editor. Private pilot for five years, piloting single and multi engine aircraft. Working in metals from 16 years of age. Laura taught herself how to use thin sheets of steel and thick steel wire to achieve the sort of design she envisioned with this medium. Because of years as a visual artist, her signature has became one of graceful lines and flowing design. Her years of life drawing lend realism of expression. Animals and nature are a large part of her artistic venue. And Abstract her delightful undertaking and challenge.
