The artist has existed from 1952 to the present date. He
was educated at UNL Art Dept. from 1970-73 and is again
attending classes. The artist paints in what he terms
"pseudo-realism" or combining abstract paint with recognizable
subject matter. Shows include:

Michael Kula also produces a series on public access TV
named "Almost Alive". It is a humourous look at art, music,
comedy,poetry, and varies at times to identify clubs
around Lincoln. Performers are highlighted from the grunge
rock of "Mercy Rule" and "Rascal Basket" to the classic
sounds of Buddy Miles and the "Jailbreakers".

to call the development of SITO.org "stagnant" for the last, oh, decade may even be a bit of an understatement. sure, our (p)articipants
have been active, much to our delight. but we elves behind SITO have been all but absent. (and even actually absent at times.)
we hope to change this path soon. honest. as part of this new direction, there are a couple things we wanted to mention:
thank you for your ongoing support!! next year marks our TWENTIETH (20!?!?) anniversary, and we hope to shake things up just a little bit.
