What!? You want to know about me? Hmmm..... well, in that case...
I'm an artist/freelance graphic designer, specializing (recently) in WWW
document design. For a slightly sleazy example of my commercial work, check out
"Setting the Record Straight"
It has some interesting sound files, as well... *grin*
However, since this is supposed to be my bio, how about some factoids that aren't
in my Web pages?
I have an art degree from Rice University, and although it is a school well
known for its computer science and engineering and only has five art professors,
I didn't learn a single thing about computers until I left.
Before I discovered the joys of computer assisted/distributed art, I was a ceramicist
and glass artist. You can't make any money doing that, either.
I am on the board of directors of Electronic Frontiers Houston, and the
president of the Online Art Resource, a nascent Internet site.
I've just recently had to start wearing glasses, a pain in the butt
( I thought), but now I find that people listen to me more with my new "serious"
look. What a riot!
I love volleyball, and I used to be a high-jumper, as well. My favorite athletic activity,
right now, is inline skating... zooming through the darkened streets of Houston's downtown,
sneaking into parking garages and speeding past security guards in an unstoppable
groundward spiral... and making the occasional pitstop to shoot some pool.
'Nuff Said.

to call the development of SITO.org "stagnant" for the last, oh, decade may even be a bit of an understatement. sure, our (p)articipants
have been active, much to our delight. but we elves behind SITO have been all but absent. (and even actually absent at times.)
we hope to change this path soon. honest. as part of this new direction, there are a couple things we wanted to mention:
thank you for your ongoing support!! next year marks our TWENTIETH (20!?!?) anniversary, and we hope to shake things up just a little bit.
