Richard E. Adams
Completed an intermediate painting course, Spring 2006, Sierra College, Rocklin, CA, 3 semester credit hours; course was taught by David Wetzel. Numerous courses taken toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts, University of Nevada Las Vegas, 1992-1995, where I was strongly influenced by Mary Warner and Jose Belver. Additional semi-private instruction, primarily acrylic painting of still life, from Susanne Forestieri, M.F.A., and colored pencil drawing from Cathy Giglio, B.F.A. Primarily self-taught in photography, one course taken at Boise State University.
Have had two or three of my oil paintings, still life subject matter, shown at the Contemporary Arts Collective gallery, Las Vegas, Nevada, 1994 (approximately).
