I'm currently a student at Raffles Junior College in Singapore. Since I bought a Pentium with a PhotoCD-compatible CD-ROM drive in March 94, I've been playing around with photomanipulation using Adobe Photoshop 2.5 for Windows. I'm still new to the field of photomanipulation, so my work may be rather amatuerish and crude, but I hope to improve with practice. I'll be glad to accept any criticisms you may have - please e-mail them to me at dchoy@mit.edu. That'll help me improve my work.
Some of the image material used in my work come from stock GIF pictures available on CD-ROM. I don't know whether they're public domain or not, and I can't find who owns the copyright to the pictures because the pictures don't come with documentation, so I'm sorry if I used your picture in my work without consulting you first.
However, most of the images used in my work come from photographs that I took on Graduation Day in October 22, 1993 when I graduated from my secondary school, Raffles Institution, and which I subsequently scanned onto a PhotoCD. The picture of the cube with the sky texture on it in Dune.jpg was created in CorelDraw using an extruded square with a fractal fill. Incidentally, the boy in the pictures is me (!!) while the two women are two of my teachers from Raffles Institution. As for Dune.jpg, it was created for a school magazine that I'm involved in called Outlook.
