With no formal training (except for a few high school classes) I've been an artistic hack most of my life and jump from one medium to the next every few years without becoming proficient in any one. I've had pencil, pastel, watercolor, and pottery "periods". Oil painting was my focus for the past couple of years and I completed seven paintings, a few of which are here, but I've already gone back to pottery and have joined a potters' co-operative in Boston, MA.

Renaissance man? I graduated from University of Massachusetts, Amherst . with a BS in Computer Systems Engineering and now live near Boston, working for a small engineering consulting firm.
