My profession was Astronomy and my hobby is still weaving. I have been thinking about the stars since I was 12 ( a long time ago). I have been weaving since 1988. My interest has been with Tapestry, mainly Navajo style tapestry.

I like the completeness of the Navajo process. The warp is one continous piece. There is no fringe to finish off or hid. And you can look at both sides of the weaving. One needs to plan the weaving to fit exactly into the size of the warp.

Now that I have retired from NASA and moved to Socorro New Mexico, I am starting to play with designs other than the typical Navajo style. I need to define my own style. Who knows where it will go.
