23 and forever a college undergrad
NOTES: File: room.gif Permission: All rights reserved, but distribute wherever. What is it: My pride and joy, a "modern" artsy raytraced room, with a nice sofa, two fancy lamps, a beautiful coffee table (complete with coffee mug and about three or four pixels of coffee), and a painting on the wall. Gory Details: Created with Moray 1.3 and PovRay 1.0. The painting on the wall is another raytrace I did in 1991, that I call "3tv2" ("3 thingys, version 2"). The floor texture is using a texture function that I programmed into povray 1.0 myself, although it's quite similar to "marble", more fractal perhaps. Nothing is holding up the lampshades :) (bars that did hold up the the lampshades created very unsightly shadows, which I removed in the name of art). File: building.gif Permission: All rights reserved, but distribute wherever. What is it: Ray-traced skyscraper on the seashore, with a blimp overhead, and trees and a road below. Gory Details: Created with Moray 1.3, PovRay 1.0, and a slew of smaller utilities for PovRay. 1024x768, and took what seems to be a lifetime to render, due to the "warped mirror" surface of the building. File: robot.jpg Permission: All rights reserved, but distribute wherever. What is it: A 4-armed treaded industrial robot, ready to serve. Gory Details: Created with Moray 1.3 and PovRay 1.0. The floor is a 'granite' texture. File: mug2.gif Permission: All rights reserved, but distribute wherever. What is it: It's a amazingly realistic ray-trace of my favorite beverage. Gory Details: Created with Moray 1.3 and PovRay 2.0, using an area light, and a stunning layered texture.
