Mitchell Whitelaw

I've been in love with computer animation since I was about ten, and have been working in the medium for a few years now. I'm interested in animations as 'virtual kinetic sculpture', i.e. as allusions to impossible objects, rather than flat images. I'm a musician and artist by background, I work with Macintosh digital sound and imaging systems, and work at a university teaching electronic music and other stuff. I'm interested in: real-time processing of audio and image, non-linear systems, installations, art on the net, a-life, dance music.

These animations are QuickTime loops, so turn on the 'loop' feature on your movie player, and let them run for a while.
