     As of Jan 1994 I am still here at Winthrop. I plan to
     graduate sometime near fall 1995 or spring of '96. I am
     currently looking for summer employment in the arts. I would
     like to have opportunities to do more illustration and
     animation. I prefer to work in applied arts more than in
     the gallery.

     Intrusive Countermeasures (ICE), is what I consider to be 
     my first well refined painting. It sprouts from the impact of 
     the cyberpunk genre on my life, as well as my own personal 
     experiences. It is a reflection of the painful idea of 
     rejection or intrusion from a system. An allagory to the 
     rejections and intrusions that we all experience. 
 
     I am most pleased to see (ICE) here at SITO where anyone 
     who likes it can get at it. It seems to be the environment for 
     which it was created. [It is.] 
                                    
     The filename for ICE is [rb-cyber.jpg] and it is listed 
     under painting.
 
     Another work (I'm sending with this file) is Cyber-Self-
     Portrait. The filename is RB-SELFP.GIF, I'm not sure 
     where it will be sorted in, but I'd look under graphics. 
     
     The image was made by scanning my face through glass.. my
     literall face, not a photo. Then I placed the scanner over 
     a television screen and rolled the roller bar with my 
     fingers, while a friend turned the tv on and off to a 
     screen of static. After that I scanned some fabric 
     textures. Using these sources I fused them and manipulated
     them using GrayWorks software and touched and polished with
     Tempra-Pro. As well as adding some imagry of my own..
     The result is, odd... comments welcome.
