I did my first ray-traced picture in January 1993. I did not have any ambition at first, it was just putting together two things I love, drawing and playing with computers. Then I started creating more complex and personal pictures, something that my own technical limitations as a self-taught painter prevent me to do when I do it on paper.
I usually do not like computer art too much :I am not so fond of hyperrealistic pool tables, checkered spheres and cyborg dummies... However, most of us are beginners. We are all learning fast, and I really think that there is great art waiting to be done with computers. Well, let's just do it !
