Faderwing

Born in Minden Louisiana and brought up in Bossier City Louisiana. My influence in art comes from Patrick Nagle, Robert Blue, Dali, H.R. Giger, and of course van Gogh. I think that every artist feels some sort of connection with van Gogh; if not his style of painting, then his drive and innate need to paint. I am a self-taught artist. I started drawing little girls when I was just a little boy myself. Later on in life I wanted a painting by Patrick Nagle or Robert Blue, but I couldnt spend the money on the prints, so I decided to do paintings of their works myself. Later I found my own style. While in the navy I would sketch people in bars for drinks, and after the Navy I started working in Topless bars and had a large supply of models. The women I paint mostly come from the night life and are not the type one would want to bring home to mother.
