Daniel J. Wood

These two photo manipulations are part of a larger series, based on the work of the surrealist Andre Kertesz. Original pieces were output to 35mm film and printed photographically on color paper (20"x24"). I am currently working on output to Iris ink-jet and Xerox Verstech color plotters (48"x60"). I am very interested in large format color printing in terms of gallery presence and over all effect. In addition, I can increase resolution of the image which is generally lost in two step processes like digital film output to photo enlargement. If any one has additional information about large ink-jet or color plotters please let me know. I am always interested in new forms of digital output.

These works were created at the MouseTrap Bar & Grille: School of Art, University of Michigan. A NewVision Arts project.
